About Us

My photographic journey began with a fully manual, 35 mm, Pentax K1000.  I used this camera for many years with black & white, color and slide film.  I learned about the effects of ISO, shutter speed, aperture and composition on the outcome of the final image.  Ofcourse, with film, it was necessary to  wait for (and pay for) the film to be developed in order to evaluate the results. Today, digital technology allows us to preview images, check histograms, make on the spot adjustments, save and transfer images for printing at a later date. 

My photographic interests are continously evolving and expanding.  Each process, change in technology, new experience and knowledge brings new potential to the images I produce. Each location, event or season brings new possibilities and excitement.  Creating beautiful images, recording important events and discoving new photographic interests is exciting and a continuously evolving process.  Never the less, I will always enjoy the classic nature of black and white photography.
